Redneck is not specific to a region. There are rednecks in every state. If you want to see redneck in it's purest form go to north central Fla.

I was shocked at the number just north of Chicago.

I had a guy from Michigan that lived across from me. He was all in. Cars on blocks, trashed yard, ect. He was stereotypical Ga/Ala redneck until he opened his mouth and the Michigan came out. I celebrated the day they packed and left.
