Where's Lockout

I had a Cam Shaft Sensor go out on me once... dear lord it did exactly what you described.

$55 part and installed it within 10 min... good to go afterwords

Confident the code scanner was good ? I'd suspect that as much as the OBD port being dead.

These trucks for some reason some scanners will not work
Had customer come in and 3 techs couldn't get it to read with their scanner

I hooked up my new modis edge bam
Read codes with ease


These are bad with throttle bodies
But anything can be wrong

Seems like the port is linked in with cigarette lighter to get power?? I'm gonna check those fuses and see what I get when it stops raining.
It stopped with the reduced engine power warning and the check engine light went off after truck had been sitting for a while. I left to go back to town and when I got in the gas a little hard it started again
Seems like I only had the problems when I got in the throttle a couple times

Front of engine remove air intake boot, might have to pull alt back for access to tps (depends how good you are). I think it's a t20 or t25 socket, two bolts. Okay don't laugh, get the wife's hair dryer and heat up the connector that goes to the tps, plastic becomes brittle after a while and you could break the little connector clips. Tps should be plug and play, hook everything up and erase mil. Think it's about 40-45 dollars
