Remington 700 barrel swap? Gunsmiths near Villa Rica/Atl

I’m interested in swapping my Remington barrel and am wondering if that is possible with another stock Remington take off barrel?
I have a 700 SPS 308, and purchased a 700 SPS 6.5 CM taken off another members rifle. Same contour same brand and model etc.

Is this something I can have done or did I waste money on the second barrel?
I’ll take advice and recommendations. I am not looking for a home made swap as I will let my young kids shoot this rifle. I’d rather have it done right or just not try it.

Chances are pretty good that the swap will.go well...I've probably swaped a dozen rem
barrels over the years and only 1 the had to be cut and rechambered a touch. Any competent.smith can do it..if you want the stamped caliber area to line up then the swap will cost you more to have the barrel shoulder cut so it lines up then chamber recut..
