There is a bonded and non-bonded version of the Golden Saber. Bonded retains weight much better.
I had used GS, but moved on to the FBI load, the bonded Winchester Ranger SXT.

Bonded is probably better in ANY SD Ammo...FWIW, the Golden Sabre is my choice in 9mm, .45 ACP and .357 Magnum/Sig...

I have owned and carried them in 45... In back yard testing they preformed well enough for me to carry them till I thought they were old enough to warrant shooting up and moving on with my life

The Golden Saber Bonded is an excellent bullet. The driving band design was always known for accuracy, and the new Black Belt design even more so.

I've also carried these in the past and don't think your going wrong with them but I found a good deal on federal hst's from sgammo.com. All the reviews on the hst have been great and I paid $19 and change a box for 50rds of premium +p fed. ammo. Hard to beat at that price.

I’ve carried them. I like them as much as anything else.
