i have a colt LE6920.
I need to remove the factory front sling mount to install an accessory rail.
Does anybody know if those two pins are permanent?
No matter how much I try but I cannot push them out.
I would prefer not to use a drill, if possible.

Take a dremel with a cut off wheel and cut it flush. It aint movin cause when you hammer those pins all it is gonna do is spread out the hammering force and spread out the pin. And try to ise the largest punch you can thats not wider than the roll pin

Thanks. But as I said one came out. I covered the barrel to avoid damages and went a little harder. Once it moves a little then it’s easy.
And once one it’s out you can remove the mount leaving the other one in place.

Those pins are directional. One side is larger than the other. You'll need a steady base, a stout punch, and a BFH.
