I recently used GM Top Engine cleaner to remove some nail polish. Worked quick.

That’s the same stuff I use to clean carbon deposits from BCG’s and muzzle devices.

I use aircraft paint stripper on ARs and pretty much all things aluminum. Takes it right off.
