Has anybody in Cherokee had to recently? When I got mine years ago it took about 3 months, realized the other day my current one expires august first, what are the wait times nowadays to get one back?

No renewals anymore. All are issued the same. Takes a week or so in cherokee last i heard (and was that for me last summer)

Highly likely.. We are talking about the local municipality!! I just look at it as better safe than sorry..
Cherokee Co. back in March 2011 is was $75.00 CASH, I went in on a Monday afternoon and had the card in my had on Saturday. No wait in the office. Had the paperwork filled out before I went in. There is a webpage where you can get the forms and such. GeorgiaCarry.org has the link to the webpage.
