Repairing flat screen TVs

Sounds like a loose speaker wire. If it's not an easy repair, you might consider a low cost soundbar. You'll get better sound than the TV puts out, and you won't have to trash the TV just because of sound problems.

Never tried to fix one but I took a couple of dead ones out to the range and they are surprisingly bulletproof. Even a 7.62x54 round from a mosin nagant wouldn't go through it

So, I should tell the wife we need a tv large enough for ALL of us to take cover behind?

Are you recommending I cover the TV with something to prevent them from spying on me? Do I need to keep it covered while watching?

At least cover the cameras in the tv with tape. It would be unwise to have private conversations with an AI listening in.
