Give a shelter or a 'rescue' a chance at a better life please.

Rescues "know." Don't ask me how, but I believe they know when they get lucky enough to find a family, even if it's just one person. This guy was "meowing" all over the place ten days ago and came right up to me when called. Very friendly. Would come from hiding about 100 yards away when I called him later that week. I noticed he was getting thinner so I started feeding him.

At the range, not afraid of gunfire at all:

Placed with a loving home yesterday and look how content he is now.

Job well done!! They definitely know. It’s horrible how some people treat other people, even their own children, but the mistreatment of animals is even sicker. I’m glad we do have people actively working to get these abandon animals a home where they are cared for. :thumb:

Nice job palmettomoon palmettomoon ! Yeah, they definitely know when they’ve been rescued. We rescued this big ol beast nine years ago from a woman who’s house & yard looked like Noah’s Ark, I had never seen that many different animals at one home before. She got sick and couldn’t care for all of them anymore but somebody abused Finlay, he still won’t let anybody touch him but me, my wife & two sons. He’s especially afraid of children and men but he’s the sweetest old dog around, we didn’t even have to house train him. 110 lbs of Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix and my wife calls him “Horse.” Lol!

We had a pit rescue that was very sweet but she didnt play at all. I think she was severely neglected. Every chance she got she would take off running until the last time when she never came back. This time we got a blue nose pit puppy at 8 weeks old and he is great
