As most of you who reload .308 know, it's not the cheapest round to produce. Especially when it comes to projectiles. So I've come across some really cheap 150 grain 7.62x54 tracer pull downs. I've run them through a Lee .308 resizing die. They now measure between .3085 and .3095, with 90 percent being .309.
Curious if anyone has loaded for .30 Cal this way, or used slightly larger bullets like this. I've done some reading on it and seems there's many different opinions. Figured I'd ask here and get some firsthand knowledge.
I read reports of ruining the accuracy of a barrel as well as being good to go.
I've got a ton of these bullets. Wanted to load a bunch up to stash away and for range days after a big rain.
Thanks!
