Always better to leave than be fired. Any guesses as to where he'll land?
My SIL is a Miami grad. He was so happy when they got Richt for coach.
My daughter is a Georgia grad, she told him "just wait".

I'm a little surprised he would give up on his alma mater so quickly. Wonder what the real story is? I always thought he would do well at Miami after a few recruiting cycles to get his own players in there.
I'm surprised that Harbaugh is still with Michigan after yesterday. May not be too late yet........

I agree. Was never built to win the big game but a very successful career and a rare coach to walk with the integrity that he had on and off the field.

You hafta wonder......... Dooley won one title at UGA , if the Dawgs had beaten Alabama in the champion ship and gone to slap notre dame silly years back would Richt still be sitting pretty? Or for that matter if not for Saban would Meyer and Miles still be alive and well in the SEC? Both won rings at their respective schools so .....how many does it take now to keep alumni/fans happy?
