Rifle cleaning rods.

I'm looking at the J. Dewey rod for cleaning my rifles. It's what my dad has used for 45+ years. Is there any out there that you may see as a better rod.

Carbon fiber rods with brass tips to not damage the barrel. I have a Tipton that works really well.

Bearings are very smooth on it.

Most fun I've had on the range is watching a "quick cleaner" get a bore snake stuck in his rifle barrel.

I keep an umbrella stand with 10 Dewey rods and two Tipton's in my "gun room." Either are fine choices.

I’ve had 2 rifles brought to me before with bore snakes stuck in barrels! One was easy to get out, the other had been packed so tight that I worked with it about 45 minutes to get out! No bore snakes for me!
