Congrats. The ultimate invite, treat it right. These horse farms have some great deer but with that comes horse women. They are a very particular bunch lol. I inherited exclusive rights to a similar place. The previous “hunters “ were not exactly sensitive to their surroundings or the owners wishs. I keep the gates and my mouth shut. Lol. This season is far from over. I get good daylight pics through January. Good luck

Man, I sure hope so.
The cool part is this place looks like something out of the 1800’s with some modern flare but just the driveway alone is about 1/4 mile long up a steep drive with a super steep drop off to the right with little barns and pasture to the left.
Can’t wait to scout the property and get on the horse trails.

So I was blazing a trail through this kudzu and found either a fox or coyote den.
Didn’t see tracks in the dirt so it may have been for pupping only.
To the left of this kudzu there’s a marshy area with tons and I mean tons of deer tracks leading through the marsh to a decent game trail and crosses a creek.
Looks like a great spot for an ambush.
The hardwoods open up as well and lots of good trees to choose from.
Drive my Jeep in a bunch of the horse trails up top.
Looks just like there’s trail access to the entire property so recovering a deer will be easy from any part of the property by 4wd or ATV.
Here’s some kudzu and the den I found.
This was a trail but grew in years ago.
I have another 30’ to go and I’ll have a horse trail leading to the main trail.
