Righteous shoot - but is it normal too...........

I wonder if “ alleged scumbag “ would have rendered CPR to the trooper if he would have gotten his shot off… wait, no I don’t. He would have more than likely stood over him and finished it.

IMHO, very justified shoot and the road temperature challenge was warranted. Good on the trooper for attempting to save this…
 
A person giving CPR alone is supposed to share the work with any other qualified person who offers to assist-- somebody who's passed an accredited (Red Cross, American Heart Ass'n, etc.) CPR course within the last 2 years or whatever the time period on the certification lasts.

Solo CPR is very tiring, and it's too easy to get sloppy with the compressions or fail to give a good breath with the proper head-tilt and mouth-seal when you're tired.

With 2 people, each will be less tired and therefore less likely to get sloppy.
