RIP Rick Ocasek.....

I worked with a few smaller bands in the eighties, that’s a self inflicted hard life. The partying is insane and nearly constant while on the road. Big bands like that had drugs and alcohol as “riders” in the contracts for each event, large amounts cocaine was usually the norm.

No wonder these guys are dying earlier than their fans.

Well he was 75 so he was older than a lot of musicians when the Cars got popular and I'm guessing most Cars fans are like me and still in their 50s.
It's not like Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin or Cobain dying at 27.

And how the heck is Keith Richards still alive. I guess he hasn't quit yet.
