I'm very happy he lived to see Marvel turn into a wildly successful industry giant that took his characters and ran with them. Quite a far cry from doing 3-panel dailies and wondering if anybody's gonna buy comic books next week.

I'm gonna have to put my brother on suicide watch. I'm sure he's devastated. He met him once and I mocked him because in the picture it's clear he was about to cry. He was 43 at the time. Lol. He named his dog Stanlee.
