Cooked a three pound sirloin tip roast in the Traeger; and then ran it through the meat slicer. Three pounds makes a lot of thin sliced roast beef. I'm probably gonna have to get creative for the next few days; but I just did a simple cold roast beef sandwich with chips tonight.

Well, I said earlier that I would be having a lot of roast beef for awhile. Tonight it was Chicago Italian style roast beef sandwiches au jus. They are better made on French bread; but I didn't have any...so I made do with hot dog buns.

Nothing wrong with using hot dog buns . My Northern Friends tell me the best lobster rolls are made with'em . Got my mouth watering by the way, that looks good. I need to pick up another slab of beef ; I went to kroger a couple weeks ago and got a half strip cause the wife and I hadn't had steak in a while and it was on sale. Got home and trimmed it up real nice, sliced us off a couple 2 inchers and put the rest in the freezer thinking "Man, we'll have steak at least once a week for a couple months"....Nope , the kids call up Mama "What y'all having for supper? " . I love my kids and I can tolerate their boyfriends but I wish they'd come over when we're having hotdogs every now and then lol . How did you cook up the sirloin tip?
