Has anyone here ever sold a firearm through their auction? If so pro’s cons etc. overall experience

I know a guy that's scooped up some rare stuff from Morphys and rock island. The buyer pays hefty shipping. Not sure what's expected on the sellers end. I'm sure it's 10-20%
