I bought a knowingly fake Rolex on the street in NYC. The watch was an EXACT DUPLICATE of a Black and Gold GMT Master. Dude wanted $300.00 for the watch, but I negotiated him down to $30.00 cash.
When I got in the taxi, I marveled at the exactness of the watch, the classic sweeping second hand movement, and how amazingly clear the crystal was. It was so clear it was almost like it wasn't there...........BECAUSE IT WASN'T. The damn crystal had fallen of the watch as I jumped in the taxi. Contacted Rolex in Switzerland about my warranty but they were real jerks about a replacement. HA !!!
