Clark Air Base 1972 - 1973. Lots of time in Angeles City at The Rumors, The Brown Jug, Nipa Hut and all the bars on Fields Ave. There was a curfew the last few months I was there so often spent the night in the working girls dorms upstairs in the bars. No "gilling gilling" allowed. Many Navy guys ran with us too along with some Army folks. All were welcome. I worked at the 6922 ESG connected to the Elephant Cage out close to the Negrito village. Fun times were had by all.

Me too, right up until Pinatubo

When the fleet would pull in to Subic we'd go to Angeles and party with the USAF. I knew a few folks that worked at Clark Control Tower since we worked together during “CopeThunder” exercises. Good times.

spent 5 months at cubi point with our hueys/cobras just before pinatubo blew. went through a 7.7 earthquake there.
