Has anyone ever heard of a Rossi M94 revolver? In .38 Special? It belonged to a friend who passed away and his 88 year old mother gave it to me.
I have never fired it. It stays in my safe. I don't see much about the M94 online, but I think it was made in the late 80s.

So, it's a duty sized gun,
similar to a S&W model 10?

Per the internet:
the M-94 =
.38 Special, 6 shot, 3 or 4 in. barrel,
blue finish only, 27 1/2 oz. weight
Imported 1985-1988.

That's it! Thank you! My best friend bought it for his mother long before he passed away. He was a Coweta county deputy. She wasn't comfortable with it. She prefers a shotgun at 88 years old. I didn't see much about it online. It's tight and seems well made but is not marked for +p rounds.
