Rossi pump 62A Nickel Anniversary Edition

Anyone know about these or ever seen one before?

It has a very unique forearm.

It allegedly came from a hardware store / gun store where it was on display for years.

I was trying to get the approximate date it was manufactured but the records for Rossi are a mess.

I am guessing 70/80s just from the story but I have no idea.

The early ones were chambered for short, long and log rifle the later version made in the late 80s and early 90s were Lr only. As for the anniversary placard it looks like that was an afterthought. Since the company started in 1889 I would guess it was a 1989 100 year anniversary. maybe 1964 75th?

Yes, this one is short, long and LR.

I have a short 16 in blued one that I got new when I was a kid in 90-92.
It is S,L,LR but I was looking for a longer barreled version when I saw this one.

Good call on the 1989/1964, I didn’t think about doing the math for the anniversary.

Check the importer data on the gun. That will give you a window of time and you can research from that.

I have a Rossi nickel plated 62SC that I've had since i was a kid (mid to late 70's). Awesome little pump action 22. I put a much smaller front forend on mine but it's still one of my favorites. I think it's probably closer to a 16" barrel but still runs like a champ.
