Ok - for those who are tumbling their baffles in a rotary tumbler, a few questions.

What size tumbler are you using?

Where do you get your media?

What kind of media are you using?

How long do you have to tumble?

I got one of THESE late last year and have very pleased with it.

I bought it as a kit that came with 5lbs of SS media pins and some of the lemishine. I was looking for a complete setup right out of the box and this had everything I needed to get started except water and detergent.

I put my SS suppressor baffles in for 3 hours. 3 hours tends to bust most all of the grud off of them. Once theyre done I'll touch up and areas that need extra attention and then rub them dry. I've heard it's ok to leave them in longer then 3 hours but I'm a little cautious and impatient when it comes to baffle cleaning.

Twitch - how do you clean yours?

Anybody able to locate brass tumbling media?

Is a high speed tumbler necessary, or just faster?

I'm not sure if your talking about standard media for reload tumbling, if so than most folks seem to use crushed walnut shell, which can be bought at pet co under the guise of lizard bedding. about $12 per 15# bag

I wish walnut would do it!!

I did put a coat of Bore Butter on everything after the last cleaning. We will see how that works. It is suspiciously similar to Frog Lube.
