Just curious, I have never been on a hog hunt. What calibers are best, I have 223 AR, and a 308 Bolt gun, which would be better

If I can get a satisfactory reply on price, we are in. If I went hog hunting without him, I would never hear the end of it.

Prices are $275 per day to hunt, $100 for lodging

Sweet... So $100 is for the stay and food right? I can pay one day hunt and just sleep 2 nights I don't feel like driving 3 hours home after all day hunting. I'll still have to check with my boss.

everyone will probably be taking ARs. id take the bolt gun, that way there atleast someone out there who can take down a decent size hog. lol jay always gives me **** about my 30-06, but i know the pig wont tote that one too far.
