Had a pair of Cabela's boots I liked, but started separating from sole after about 3 years, mainly only used for deer season. Also should note these seem to run about 1.5-2 sizes larger than normal sizes.
Went a different route this year and got a pair of Irish Setter boots, but I didn't wear them long enough when I tried them on. Regretted that on the first hunt with them. They were snug when I tried them on, but I thought I liked that about them, turns out they are a bit too snug on the sides of my feet and I need to go back and try a wider pair. Seems unusual for me because I've never worn a wide boot or shoe.
Beyond that I can't be much help other than to say make sure you try on the boots before buying as it seems none of them are the same as normal shoes sizes.
Muck. No comparison. I’ve tried a many in my line of work (concrete). They hold up better and way more comfortable. Are costly but around this time tractor supply runs them on sale. Only gripe, not real breathable. Feet tend to sweet. Wear good socks. Other than that. Good boots
I got the tall rubber slip on LaCrosse, got them in 1993 and still good for what little I use them
very hard to get off without using a step on boot puller offer
I have a pair at the farm that I like I will look this weekend and advise the brand They will not pull your socks down but you need a boot jack to remove
I've never had a pair of winter boots I liked better than a pair of North Face lace ups I bought at 75% off years ago. Were comfortable, waterproof, well insulated, could hike for miles in them. They finally separated on a hike and I miss them.
