Ruger SFAR Anyone?

We got one in the shop last Friday, lasted about 1 hour before it was bought. Nice, lite , good trigger. I would change the break for something else. Over all a typical Ruger product.

I'll be buying the first one I see.

I have a Tavor 7 for my 308 SD gun, and while I love it, an AR-15 weight AR-10 would be a great addition.

And it's a Ruger. POF has a similar rifle for a lot more, but I trust Ruger more than I trust them, and POF is a favorite of mine.

First I've heard of this one. Sounds like Ruger has put a LOT of work into making this smaller/lighter than an AR10.

I guess it remains to be seen if the diet will affect reliability.

Heard an interview with a Ruger exec on this on Gun Talk Radio and he hinted at other calibers coming 'real soon'.

I keep hearing the prc stuff will take over the cm ?? I wouldn’t doubt Ruger doing PRC.

Not with the magnum bolt face and increased recoil it won’t.

I looked at one in the 16” variant here locally… would have snagged it but the rail stinks. Not full picatinny on top and not mlok on top either so basically no way to mount anything on top of the rail… will consider the 20” but can believe they made such a useless rail on the 16”
