I understand current market trends but it just looks awkward with the wood stock. It would look more operator with an ugly black stock with rails all over it. Call it the Ruger Hawkeye Tactical Hunter.

I totally agree with you,Sir.A rifle that sexy should stay virginally unscrewed. Save the tactical edge for the Ruger American. Its already got a plastic stock.Bottom line for me, Im not ashamed of who hears my 1 round fired at whatever im harvesting downrange.
