Russian sks build

I can't trade it, it's not mine.
But I'm keeping all the parts I take off so it can still be original. I do like the bullpup but he doesn't

As already stated, keep in mind that russian SKSs are collector items worth more than other SKS models. Anything you do to it that can't be reversed will destroy any collector value it has. If you then ever decide to sell it don't think you'll get anywhere near what unmolested Russian SKSs are going for.

The issue is that the rifle is not his so really has no choice in the matter, I don't thinks he would touch a thing if it was his. It's a beautiful rifle. It if someone wants to tac it out, then that's their choice. I like the bull pup idea, might be looking for a beater sks to get that bull pup.

Here is a stock that I have seen on a few. http://www.tapco.com/products/sks/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=173

Still lets you keep the bayonet.

If he destroys that rifle so help me god! Buy a friggin Norinco or one of the surplus chinese ones that have terrible stocks but good metal parts for $200 at Clyde!!!!

I'm not doing anything to it tgat can't be put back. He paid 75 dollars for it years ago and he doesn't ever get rid of any gun so as far as resale value that's not very important to him.
