S&W 19 - sideplate

Des anyone have any tips on how to get a stubborn sideplate off a 3 screw mod 19 ? I've taken a couple off in the past, but this one is being difficult, I can't get it to move at all. Soaking in kroil right now.

Anyone have any tricks to break it loose ?

I know this sounds crazy but I have removed side plates before with an air compressor and a blow gun. I stuck the barrel down inside a sock and blew air between the hammer and frame. If anything should fly apart it will be captured inside the sock. Did this while working on a couple old S&W model 10s a friend inherited.

Stick a brass or aluminum rod between the plates and pry. It may put a mark on the inside but it will come off since the brass and aluminum is much softer than the steel

Remove side plate screws. Remove the grip panels. Hold the revolver with side plate up, strike grip frame with hammer handle (something softer than steel/aluminum). Side plate will usually vibrate off.
