S&W Shield 45 question - first gen vs M2.0

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 1.0 and M2.0 versions of the 45ACP Shield? The 1.0 already had the forward serrations and improved grip texture. Is it just the trigger then? I know some who say the 1.0 trigger feels similar to the M2.0 9mm trigger. I can't find a definitive answer anywhere. Thanks in advance.

There is no 1.0 version of the .45 shield.

The .45 shield came out as 2.0. It was not stamped 2.0 and I think that they still aren’t.

The pictures up on Smith and Wesson‘s website show that the shield 45 is now marked M2.0. That’s why I was asking.

That is correct - I have 2 of them, and prefer them to the 9mm versions.

Same gen., Smith just started to mark the slide with 2.0 sometime last year.
