I've got a stock Saiga izhmash in 7.62X39. Whats it worth guys? I've seen good deals on arsenals and other built or converted AK's

Do stock ones have any value, just debating which direction I should

(to convert it or sell it-save some money and buy a built one)

I've converted one before, it can be a pretty decent sized project depending on how far you want to go in the conversion.

You could probably sell it and make enough to geta WASR which would do about anything you really need an AK to do out of the box.

But the Saiga's are about as close as you can get to a real deal Russian AK if that's your thing.

Convert it to take AK mags and hold onto it, makes a great rifle for a retarded neighbor in the zombie apocalypse. The other option is to sell it to someone else that will never finish turning it into an AK and enjoy the cash.

VERY nice! who makes that furniture?
Magpul stock, Carolina Shooters Supply handguard, Saw style grip - I forget who makes it.

No need to change out your hanguard really. Up to you.

And a Bullet Guide $14

Do it yourself. You'll enjoy the project and have a great rifle. No special tools other than good drill bits (to drill out the rivets) and a tap for the bullet guide.
