I had a buyer want to see my credentials lol. Nice guy but my FL ccw, fl dl, govt i.d., ga vehicle registration/ tags, and ga residence mail didn't suffice so he opted out. I was like "hey man, all good". Sold it the next day for more.

I could see the paranoia I guess. The reciprocity is valid and I've even done lgs transfers with my outve state license and credentials so I just laugh it off. He was cool. I didn't feel any type a way bout it. Just another old dude being an old dude. Just glad he doesn't type in all caps and post irrelevant sh*t.

Go with your gut when you meet the buyer. I want to see a GDL at a minimum to confirm Georgia residency. For handguns, I mention wanting to see a WCL in my listing to separate the wheat from the chaff. It's up to you. And feedback needs to be considered.

Don't let others dictate what your level of comfort should be when completing a deal.
