San Mai with wrought iron

So, I read that it was possible to forge weld wrought iron to carbon steel to make san mai so I thought I would give it a try… turns out pretty crazy! May have to look for some more for future projects!

Because the edge is solely 80crv3, it tempers out to around 58… the wrought does not harden but is not at the edge
