New update..Saturday Upstate New York State Deer Opener..

So Update.. We are heading into a Nor’easter.. Changing vehicles and taking the Sons F350 Dually 4x4.. almost all is Highway.. The mountains on I 81 thru Pennsylvania are scary enough with a few inches of snow.. Now add in Ice, wind, and up to 12 inches of snow...

Great news is they have more than one plow... They get in front of this and do a great job on storms..

Be safe bud. Too many idiots on the road up there. It looks like this storm will be a doozy.

The biggest bodied deer I've ever killed was in upstate NY. It was a doe and I shot her on the last day of the season. When we hung her in the garage her back hooves were touching the ceiling and her nose was touching the floor. 8' ceiling. She weighed 250 pounds. Nature dont make does like that down here.

Well the Nor’easter... didn’t dissapoint from a weather perspective...! But it did shut the deer down....

1 nice buck seen.. several small ones, and quite a few does that could have used saddles..!

Got a few good pics to share.. a couple macros of some cool frozen snowflakes, on my rifle. A few scenery pics with my boys.

Until next year!
