So now Savage is building ARs too? Seems like they picked the wrong time to get into it. I'm waiting for Craftsman ARs or maybe Ozark Trail ARs. How bout Kershaw ARs? Damn! Anybody wanna buy my AR?

Maybe it's your taste, but there is nothing wrong with that stock. Is it not operator enough for you? Because it will perform the same as a magpul. You could tie a sock full of gummie bears to the end of an AR tube, and it would still function in combat.

I held the Ruger several times and wasn't blown away with the fit and finish... felt like a PTAC with Ruger printed on it.

Maybe they have different versions?

Nope, there is plenty wrong with that stock. There are burrs and rough edges all over it. Have you even seen it in person or do you just like that dollar general plastic feel to your guns?
