Savage Model 10 Stealth 6.5 magazines

I am looking for extra mags for my new long range Savage. I read and the recommendations are for an acis short action type mag. All I can find are .308's. The mag that came with the gun has .308 punched on the side. So can I use a 308 mag for my 6.5 bullets in this rifle. Any body have any recommendations. thanks much

I think most will be labeled 308. They can be used for any of the 308 short action "family" 308. 243, 6.5 CM etc.

I liked the Magpul aics short action Pmag in my Stealth, Ruger Precision rifle and Bergara-any gun that uses aics short action mags. It allows you to feed the rifle (single shot) without loading up the mag,

Any AICS pattern short action 308 mag will do. Magpul will be cheapest. Your factory mag is probably made by Accurate Mag if Savage hasn't changed since I last looked.
