I'd rather they have to ride the lightning. I don't like them having a choice.

A firing squad seems to me to have military connotations, with some dignity in receiving a "soldier's death." This rather than hanging, which has always been the reserved method for low criminals and scoundrels.

Public hangings or at least televised hangings. Public would have too many gun toters showing up,and you know some awipe gonna act a fool

I would much rather take the bullet over the indignity of lying there strapped down and poison shot through my veins, taking what could be 20 -30 minute process depending on the current available potion. Much more humane in practice and dignifying to take it on your feet. - Doing the offender a favor!! If it saves the taxpayer, I'm all for it!!
