So we have some funds to invest in a 12 month CD. Wife found a great rate on line.......

I called , very professional but something was wrong.

Gave no info other than email address and phone #

He emailed mine forms which I did not open. I started looking for this company and more red flags. FDIC # was for a bank in Wisconsin (they are in CA supposedly).

Called FDIC today, yep scam. They have forced closure of two websites already.

Beware and be careful. Paranoia is healthy.

The site is now down , FDIC said that they have taken two down so far from what appears to be the same people.

As for ETF they didnt get that far with me.

What was the percentage rate they were offering

Best ive seen is 2.8% with cap 1

If it sounds too good to be true...

I'd deal with a local bank, or a reputable one that also does business online. These days you can get a nice rate with an online savings account.
