Scare tactics

It scared me enough to go out and panic buy a bunch of ammo at Walmart and I even got boxes of calibers I don't even have (yet). Got to get it while the getting is good before the big price gouge starts again.

I heard Romney's comment that "full automatic weapons are already illegal" , etc. and his further comments that the "ban" in his state was worked out between the pro gun and anti gun groups... But Obama's statement that weapons designed for military use "have no place on the street" is one that bothers me. Almost any firearm used today have roots somewhere in a military use.. The broad definition that could be given "military use" weapons is scary..

Couple that with his next comment that "cheap handguns" are the problem in my home state/city, and now you have the makings of a real scary gun legislation. What is the definition of a cheap handgun? ones that sell for 200, 300, 400, 500 or anything under $1000?? You dont have to make guns illegal, just too expensive for the average Joe to afford and you have effectively stopped private LEGAL gun ownership.

Of course, ALL criminals get their guns LEGALLY, right??

Good points. Don't ban, just tax the **** out of it and/or raise prices.

I'm no hobama fan, however wouldn't he need the republicans to sign off on it again? have the republicans supported anything other than NDAA? wouldn't there have been an attempt when "liberal" had control of both houses? if there is a ban of any sorts please don't let the wrestling cloud your views of what is taking place.

Not sure if any of you seen, or care, but Stoddard's attempted to use the good ole scare tactic on a face book post earlier tonight. It blew up in their face and the post is now gone. Just bothers me cause I honestly thought they were above that type of crap. Wish I would have copied and pasted it for show and tell, but didn't. It was funny cause I was actually the first to get to comment, then a slew of people started hammering them on it and now "poof", disappeared into thin air. But it was something about they were wanting us to come in tomorrow at 10am to place orders on firearms that they had secured before they become banned. Said something about "remember 2008? Here we go again."

I changed the wording in our Smith and Wesson M&P Rifle ad to mention getting them while still available, not as a scare tactic, just to get more attention on the ad itself with the pricing we are able to offer. I even added not a scare tactic to it now...

"S&W M&P Rifles...Get you ASSAULT rifle before a potential ban... For Sale North East GA"
