Scope and cheek riser suggestions

I went around and around looking for a good cheek riser for various rifles. Settled on pipe insulation from Home Depot. They sell it in different thickness. It just sits on the stock. Absolutely perfect. Off and on in under one second. The best groups I have ever shot have come using pipe insulation for a riser.

I like the leather repo cheek rest on the M1A as well. Basset mounts are tough to beat.

I had this one and it worked great

Us Palm, around $100.

Budget, vet wrap and foam works great and only costs a few bucks.

Bassett machine makes the best, reasonably priced mount. Budget and M1a scope mounts do not go together. Sub $100 ones exist but aren't worth buying.

I've heard a lot of good things about the SWFA scopes. I think the 6x42 or 10x42 would work for you:

I have a couple mid priced SWFA scopes. Mostly pleased with them although one keeps loosing the screw in zoom post.

I also have Leupold and Vortex gear (scopes and red dot respectively) and wouldn't kick any of them out of the running.
