I want to put a scope on my 16” AR but it has a A2 front sight. What is a good mount where it won’t obstruct the view in the scope and allow me to keep the mbus rear sight on? Pics and advice greatly appreciated!

Usually a one piece cantilever scope mount will get you up high enough where the front sight will just be a slight blur at the bottom of the scope. Nothing real bad. You will actually really have to seek it out to find it. It's not like you will have a big post in the middle of your scope. It's just the way the glass works. Sounds wrong but it isn't.

Yep, solid advice. At 4x you won’t really see the front sight post. No special mounts needed. If you are using a 1-4x, idk. Use a qd mount?

I like the Burris PEPR for the AR rail.
Puts a scope where it should be on an AR and you can have a MBUS (or similar) behind it.

I have this listed for sale on here. I had it on an AR with an A2 front sight post with zero issues. I can not remember who makes the mount but this style worked for me.
