I've never been able to look at a deer on the hoof and score it. I know the deer I'm hunting in my head is bigger than the deer in the woods. The deer on the hoof is always bigger than the deer on the ground.

plenty of literature out there and you have to see lots of deer to get good at it.Thats why I dont score mine I just say big bigger biggest ever.heck i shot a 4 pointer earlier this year and I am proud of him.To much emphasis on who got what.That mines bigger than yours deal.

Looks about the same as my 8 pointer so I will go with 130.
