So what's the deal with sealed pistol cans these days? I can't imagine the insides of a Wolfman or Omega after 3-4k rounds thru it - especially subs. My Octane 45 ends up caked with piles of gunk after a day of 147s and 158s 9mm....

On a more serious note, I've not really seen much build up in my can unless I run it wet. That is a mess to clean. I normally shoot subs also.

Which brand 147 and 158s are you shooting?
I just found some Fiocchi 158s. Are they real dirty?

sorry, i didnt answer your question in my other post... i cant tell any different in how dirty there are compared to quality 147s. i dont use Fiocchi 147s, so i cant compare against them - i had nosediving issues with a few guns.

Federal, Winchester, and AE 147s are SUPER nasty, darn near 22lr level nasty - not to mention some of them like to nosedive under a faster rate of fire.
