Securing handguns in the car

I used to hide my cash in one of the 30 empty cigarette packs in my floorboard. Then I went got married and had kids, don't have to worry about cash now.

I was riding with a guy to a job in Alabama once. His floorboard was deep in trash underneath my feet. We stopped for gas and I asked if he wanted me to throw out some of it. He said ok but not the bag with the pistol in it.

I guess if someone breaks in your house it'll be your fault for not having burglar bars and a better security system? I understand it's not a good idea, but damn, try blaming the criminals.

OP, neat setup. My brother in law runs something very similar with the same safe.

If you can afford a gun, you can afford to secure it when it's not in your possession. If you don't want to secure it, then you can afford to lose it. You'll get no sympathy from me. No one ever has. I know three different people, a cop, a pastor, and a business man who have had guns stolen (house, car, and business) as well as a a disturbingly large number of reports on this site of people losing guns by way of theft. I have no sympathy for any of them. Tough luck.

All of your posts are a joke; you come across as being omnipotent on every subject .... is there anything that you do not know or have an "expert" experience on?

Seriously, I'm just curious .... you tend to post unfounded statistics on a regular basis, post odd opinions, yet you seem to have excellent grammar & sentence structure ...... so I'm forced to think, you are trolling or are just an eductated drunk.....

So, who are you, exactly?

So what you are saying is you leave your gun at home in the safe if you are going to court, school, or any government building?

Please reference "unfounded statistics" that I have ever used. Opinions are like turd holes. They all accomplish the same objective no matter how "odd" they might seem to you. No one should believe anything they read on the internet. But, are you just and uneducated non-drunk with moderate communication skills? :pound:

Gee, the OP has decided he's going to be a responsible gun owner and make sure it is secured if he ever has to leave it in his car. Anyone who does not do that is not a responsible gun owner. I have no sympathy for anyone who has their car window smashed and their gun stolen from under their seat. How's that for an opinion? Want to hear it again?
