Security Camera Advice

I’m not sure about Georgia, but in California this was written in the penal code as a criminal offense

c) For purposes of this section, "boobytrap" means any concealed
or camouflaged device designed to cause great bodily injury when
triggered by an action of any unsuspecting person coming across the
device. Boobytraps may include, but are not limited to, guns,
ammunition, or explosive devices attached to trip wires or other
triggering mechanisms, sharpened stakes, and lines or wire with hooks
attached Is guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state
prison for two, three, or five years.
No projectiles, just noise. 100% legal. You can basically just run a 209 primer or buy their flashbang shells.

I have one on a power pole over looking my driveway, probably 40 yds from the router. If you can pick up Wi-Fi on your phone, chances are your camera will too.

At night, same camera a few nights ago.

You are in Ga. Not that crap hole. I use them ALL the time.

Looking from some guidance/advice from the group on security camera's. I've currently got some Wyze 1080p cameras set up watching over an old house that the meth heads like to frequent, break into and steal out of. Had the first episode in quite a few months over the weekend. The guy got about 4 yards from the camera (at night) and the images were too pixelated to be of any use to the cops for identification purposes. So, I'm hot on the hunt for a new wireless system that is going to actually be useful when the crap hits the fan the next time and I was hoping some folks might have some guidance suggestions of what to look for and what to steer clear of. The house has power and I have WIFI to support the Wyze cameras now, so no limitations there. Below is what I'm kinda looking for. Please, any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated at this point.

Outdoor Rated
Wireless
Night Vision Capable
4MP+
Able to access via phone app
Able to save full length videos to cloud or a hub/router located in the house

Thanks again for the support and suggestions on this.

Lots of good suggestions here, one thing I would say though is it doesn't matter how good the camera is. The meth head could hold his license up to the camera, say my name is bob smith and I live at 1234 any street and the police won't do anything with the video.
