Sedona is awesome in the fall and the ride north is beautiful, pretty touristy but nice place to visit.

Try Jackson Hole Wyoming or Missoula Montana. Many places cheap to fly in, rent a car and see Yellowstone, Grand Teton or Glacier National parks, Just got back a few weeks ago and it was the best trip I ever had!

I go to Missoula every year, except this year (thx agin WuFlu) fly fishing for a week. I absolutely LOVE everything about Montana.... also done Yellowstone and it’s truly magnificent

Sedona is beautiful....... spend the money for the chopper ride and Jeep rental.
Eat at the Salt Cellar in Phoenix, best seafood in the middle of a desert you’ll ever eat.

If in Phoenix, eat at Tacos Tijuana. Unbelievably delicious.
