Yeah 4 yrs of Communist Dem/rat ruleGas station clerks are saying peoples cards are bouncing , and they are putting small dollar increments on gas fill up
Repos are up
Foreclosures are up
Bankruptcies are up
People tapping into their 401k/roth Ira’s are up
Job market is tough right now, layoffs are sweeping the country
Credit card debt is at an all time record high
Student loan payments are about to kick back in
Global conflicts are up
It seems like the chickens have come home to roost
It is absolutely socialism, by definition. Even put it right there in the name to remove any doubt.Social Security is not Socialism. It was designed to help folks in this Country as they got older and retiring, think about it, back then there was no other way like 401k's, retirement packages for everyone. Kids now days do not have a clue, as well as some grown ups. Put money back, invest wisely, don't listen to whiners. Yeah I guess keeping your money that you paid into Social Security might work, but face it most still would not think about when they retire, they would just spend the hell out of it too. Then come retirement, they wouldn't have anything, including a monthly check from SSI. There's time to move to another country if you wish and good luck there.
If you believe in yourself, start you own solution, that's call preparations, 401k is tax deferred, traditional IRA will drop your income tax and send it back to you. That's using your head IMO. You can't and won't stop social security, but sorry you feel that way.It is absolutely socialism, by definition. Even put it right there in the name to remove any doubt.
The government is not your nanny. It's not your kid's nanny. (Ok, it obviously is but shouldn't be) Yes you "should" get what you paid in. Nobody is suggesting otherwise. I'd forego my entire SS if it could free my son from having money stolen from him and his employer each pay period because the "government knows how to take of him better than he does himself. And it's only "fair" some of his money pays for those that don't work."
Yes, there was no 401ks. You know what was ubiquitous? Pensions. A capitalist solution. Imagine that.
The entire SS system is disgusting. The fact ALL freedom living Americans aren't infuriated such a mandate exists just shows how the Republic is not only dying, it will never return.
True, but pensions were designed to keep you working for one company your entire life, and discouraged leaving to better yourself, or start your own opportunities. It is absolutely socialism, by definition. Even put it right there in the name to remove any doubt.
