Are select fire switches legal if you register with the ATF in this country?

No. It would be considered making a new machine gun which has been illegal for civilians since 1986.
Same with drop in auto sears,lighting links,etc. No new registration is allowed. Only registered pre 86
items can be transferred legally. You may be able to buy a new drop in auto sear,glock conversion switch, or other full auto parts but you can't use them in unregistered guns legally. In some cases the ATF considers having both items separately as violation of the law.

Please dont fall for the scam that ive seen around the internet. I run across the german made glock full auto switches all the time for 399.00. You cant legally own those. 2 things can happen when you buy those. 1. you pay for it and they never ship the item. OR 2. you pay for it and the UPS man is an undercover ATF agent. The second you sign for it.... BOOM you go to jail. Stick with semi auto glocks.
