Select Fire Glock

So it'll cost ya $1000.00 a year to have this?

You better operate as a business and not personal. They will audit and they will watch to make sure you didn't apply a class 3 SOT for personal use, thats a felony and registration dorm room with Bubba at Federal Prison University!

I have one on the way. It is a finished one that is a registered post 86 machine gun. They are not the ATF, nor are they asking to get raided. They require a copy of your ffl and sot before they sell to you.

If you get your ffl (required before you can pay the sot) you better damn sure be running a business.

Demo letters are a request from a law enforcement entity for a demonstration of a particular weapon. They are required for all dealers looking to buy a post 86 mg. the seller submits a form 3 and your law letter and waits for approval before transferring it to you. If you are a manufacturer, you just file a form 2 when you've made an mg. no need for a demo letter until you want to buy one. But being a manufacturer has its additional costs. Like itar. Which is $2295 / YEAR.

Dumb question, probably, but if someone were to buy one of these and not install it, would it be illegal? Maybe just hold it as insurance in case the SHTF?

Legally you could possess it if you don't have the whole deal but most places won't even sell to you unless you've got paper.
