I finally found the clutch dust cover I thought fit my bell housing.
All of the bolt locations line up, however, it appears that the lip by the crank falls short and is rubbing slightly on what I suppose is the front of the flywheel or crank flange?
I took it off and the rubbing was minor. I reinstalled it.
This thing has brackets from the motor mount for rods to the bottom of the aluminum bell housing. The bottom bolt for the one rod I have on is basically stripped but holding.
I think the stripped hole won't like another round of disassembly.
I think I have the right size helicoil to fix the stripped bolt but I really am lazy enough to let the dust cover "self clearance" so I don't have to take it apart and cut on it or beat on it with a hammer.
Leave it and deal with the noise?
